Frequently Asked Questions

We know that starting a therapeutic process, especially online, can raise many questions. Below, we answer some of the most common doubts to help you feel confident and prepared before you begin.

Sessions are conducted through secure platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. You just need a device with an internet connection, such as a phone, tablet, or computer, and a quiet space where you feel comfortable to talk. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link to join the session.

Each session lasts 50 minutes, whether for individual therapy or couples therapy. During that time, we will work on the issues that concern you most, adjusting the pace to your needs.

The number of sessions will depend on your personal needs and goals. In general, the scientific community recommends having one session per week, as this pace allows for consistent progress and more effective work on the issues you want to address. However, each therapeutic process is unique. Some people may notice improvements in just a few sessions, while others may prefer a more prolonged course of therapy.

During the first sessions, we will assess your situation together and create a personalized plan that aligns with your expectations and needs.

If the cancellation is made with less than 24 hours' notice and without a valid reason (such as a medical appointment), a charge will apply. Organizing and scheduling sessions requires effort, so we ask for prior notice to do it properly.

Yes, absolutely. We take your privacy very seriously because we know it’s a crucial factor in making you feel safe. All sessions are conducted confidentially, and we use secure platforms to protect the information shared during consultations.

Session vouchers offer a reduced rate compared to individual payments per session and are designed for ongoing therapeutic processes. For this reason, once the voucher has been used (i.e., after the first session), no refunds, either full or partial, of the amount paid will be issued.

Currently, vouchers do not have an expiration date, so pending sessions can be used at a later time, as long as the process remains active and there is availability for care.

In case of questions or exceptional situations, each case will be assessed individually, always with the aim of maintaining a professional, clear, and respectful framework for both parties.

Payments are made online, either via credit/debit card or bank transfer. After scheduling your session, we will send you a secure link to complete the payment.

Wasn’t the payment made before scheduling the session, via PayPal? I understood that it was automatic, and we wouldn’t need to send a link.

You don’t need to prepare anything specific. We only recommend that you reflect on what has led you to seek help, even if you don’t have a concrete idea of what you want to work on, and find a space where you feel comfortable speaking. We also want you to feel completely at ease if something makes you uncomfortable or if you don’t feel a connection—our priority is that you find a professional who fits you.

Of course! Couples therapy is specifically for addressing issues that may be affecting your relationship, whether it’s a temporary crisis or long-term difficulties. Together, we will work to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen your bond.

It’s important that you feel comfortable with the therapist who is working with you. If at any point you don’t feel at ease, please don’t hesitate to communicate it, and we will find the best solution for you.

Yes, it’s completely normal. Many people feel nervous before starting therapy.

Especially if it’s your first time. Therapy is a process of personal exploration, and those nerves usually fade once you begin the sessions and feel more comfortable with the process.
